First generation Italian, Milo “Mr. Lucky” Marcer lives and works in Cape Town, South Africa. After studying fine Art at Wits Tech, Milo worked as a designer and Illustrator in the Advertising industry, all the while tattooing. Milo has devoted more than 20 years to the art of tattooing, has won awards and has been published in several local and international magazines. Milo has worked all over Europe and the United States.

Having had a strict Catholic upbringing, Milo is very inspired by religious iconography, as well as being influenced by the old tattoo masters like Bert Grimm, Sailor Jerry, Doc King, Don Ed Hardy and many others,  he however always retains his illustrative roots and with his creative twist, all his images remain intriguing. It would be wrong to pigeonhole his style as it is ever evolving and changing, transforming into fabulous works of art in his clients skin.
